Spent 7 weeks in Europe in '87, attending Gran Prix Races at Spa Francorchamps & Monaco and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Accepted into Cornish College of the Arts, spending some years concentrating on printwork. Started racing motorcycles in '89. Switched to enormous paintings for the 5th year . Graduated Class of '91, BFA.

I live & work in Seattle. When I'm not painting I'm writing and recording music with NOBODY HOME a Power Trio comprising my brother Jonathan Stuart and close friend Duncan McColl.
