The
pipe is a correct exhaust for 1969-1971. The 1969 pipe would have a 12" long
stinger, but Husky shortened them to the length you see here.
Bikes
with the longer pipe would suffer crash damage and the stinger would get cut
to a shorter length or sometimes to put a muffler on.

The tank is the last year of the teardrop shaped tank, and for Husky owners usually the single most expensive part of the restoration. Tank was plated and painted by John Lefevre at Vintage Husky in Costa Mesa.
