Blur
Since
Le Mans is essentially a track in the French Countryside,
we found ourselves watching along the Mulsanne straight. Right
behind our shoes was a garden, straight out of a Beatrix Potter
tale, complete with stakes with labels of what was in each
row. Then there was a hedge which we leaned over - and on
the far side of the hedge were prototype sports cars passing
us at just about Mach .3 - just
about a third the speed of sound.
There's nothing like it.
And
for someone inspired by light and shadow- well, there isn't
a more ferocious and dramatic example.
